Chair’s Welcome
“It is my great pleasure to serve as Chair of the Committee on Clinical Pharmacology and Pharmacogenomics at the University of Chicago and to welcome your interest in our program! The University of Chicago Fellowship Program in Clinical Pharmacology and Pharmacogenomics offers a world-class training opportunity to qualified post-doctoral individuals (MD, PharmD, PhDs) who wish to acquire advanced expertise in clinical therapeutics — including disciplines such as novel drug development, therapeutic molecular science, immunology, pharmacogenomics, pharmacoeconomics, and therapeutic toxicity mitigation, among many others. For over 45 years, we have offered this NIH-funded training program – one of only a few such programs in the United States. Our fellowship training brings together individuals like you – curious, early career scientists from diverse skillsets and backgrounds – with our unparalleled Committee faculty who are international experts in their respective research fields, to ask and inspire the next frontier of research questions that will inform discovery and improved use of medical therapies.
